Literacy Intervention for Dyslexia Diagnosis

If you are pursuing a Dyslexia diagnosis for your child, you have probably been told that your child will first need to receive at least 6 months of literacy intervention before a formal diagnosis can be made.

By receiving evidence-based, explicit and structured literacy intervention at Reach-ed Learning Solutions, your child will be given the opportunity to improve their reading and writing skills. This will give you and any clinicians involved in the diagnostic process an accurate insight into your child's learning potential prior to confirming a Dyslexia diagnosis.

Literacy Support for Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning Difficulties

Reach-ed Learning Solutions offers engaging, interactive and evidence-based literacy sessions with a focus on multisensory, structured, explicit instruction.

Structured literacy sessions are based on Sounds-Write, an evidence-based synthetic phonics program that helps develop reading skills by promoting phonological awareness and focusing on the relationship between sounds and the letters that represent them.

Sounds Write is endorsed by the Australian Department of Education and the Dyslexia SPELD Foundation (DSF).

Learners initially undertake a diagnostic screening test to identify their main areas of need, and are regularly reassessed to gauge their progress.
