Learning Support Services for Learning Difficulties, Dyslexia and Special Needs
Reach-ed Learning Solutions offers engaging, interactive and evidence-based tutoring sessions with a focus on multisensory, structured, explicit instruction.
Structured literacy sessions support the development of reading and writing skills by promoting phonological awareness and focusing on the relationship between sounds and the letters that represent them (phoneme-grapheme correspondences).
Explicit direct instruction is also used to provide maths support to students with Dyscalculia and general difficulties with numeracy skills.
Learners initially undertake diagnostic screening tasks to identify their main areas of need, and are regularly monitored to gauge their progress.
Literacy Intervention for Dyslexia Diagnosis
If you are pursuing a Dyslexia diagnosis for your child, you have probably been told that your child will first need to receive at least 6 months of literacy intervention before a formal diagnosis can be made.
By receiving evidence-based, explicit and structured literacy intervention at Reach-ed Learning Solutions, your child will be given the opportunity to improve their reading and writing skills. This will give you and any clinicians involved in the diagnostic process an accurate insight into your child's learning potential prior to confirming a Dyslexia diagnosis.
Homeschool Learning Support
In-home tutoring services are available for families who homeschool their children, providing personalised learning support during school hours (9am- 3pm).
This individualised approach ensures that each lesson is tailored to meet each child’s unique learning needs. Using a multisensory and interactive methodology, students are engaged with a variety of activities that stimulate curiosity and enhance retention.
The use of structured, explicit instruction within a nurturing learning environment aims at enriching the homeschooling experience making learning both enjoyable and effective.
